A trauma‑informed, faith‑integrated approach to helping men heal, lead, and strengthen their families.
The Heart Behind This Work
I work at the intersection of faith, mental health, and family systems — helping men understand their stories, regulate their emotions, and build healthier relationships with the people who depend on them.
Across churches, DCS programs, community agencies, and clinical settings, I’ve seen the same truth: When a man begins healing, the entire system around him shifts.
My goal is to create spaces where men feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and equipped enough to lead their families with steadiness and compassion.
My Approach
This work is grounded in three commitments:
- Trauma‑Informed Behavior is communication. Men act from the stories they carry, often without realizing it.
- Strengths‑Based Men don’t need to be “fixed.” They need tools, language, and a path forward.
- System‑Aware When fathers grow in emotional capacity, children stabilize, partners feel safer, and agencies see better outcomes.
This framework shapes both of my primary programs: Wounded Man and Tool Time for Dads.
Wounded Man
A narrative‑based workshop helping men understand the deeper stories shaping their reactions, relationships, and identity.
Key themes include:
- How early wounds shape adult responses
- The nervous system’s role in anger, shutdown, and reactivity
- Survival strategies vs. healthy connection
- Moving from isolation to belonging
Wounded Man gives men language for what they’ve carried and permission to grow beyond it.
Tool Time for Dads
A practical, skills‑based program for fathers navigating stress, co‑parenting, reunification, or complex family systems.
Focus areas include:
- Emotional regulation and “the brain on triggers”
- Understanding a child’s behavior as communication
- Repairing after conflict
- Building predictable, safe relational patterns
- Increasing a father’s sense of competence and connection
This program is intentionally accessible, shame‑free, and built for real‑life application.
